Eltham Parklands
Sunday, 19 November 2017
Eltham Parklands is a lovely scenic map - yes that's code for hilly! We all dream of a course with 20 controls in the actual parklands beside the river, but it never happens ... course setter Peter L didnt cooperate! He certainly tested our climbing skills, and our brains as well. Fastest on A course were Steven, Russell and Warwick. Quickest on B were Lauris, Geoff and Katherine. Winners on C were Ian, Phil and Andrew. First back on D were Ewen, Sue and me. Len just held off Dave on PW to win by a point, ahead of Ros and Barry.
Steven claimed his fifth consecutive win on A course; Russell and Stephen are still second and third. Geoff moved to first on B, ahead of Damian and Stuart. Dennis still leads C course, Fiona is now second and Philippa third. Ewen moved to outright first on D ahead of me and Kathy. Len also has a perfect streak, and leads PW from Barry and Mike.
See you next Thursday at Research.

Where: Northern suburbs of Melbourne
When: 7:00pm Thursdays October-March
Cost: $5 per event for adults, $2 for juniors (under 21)
What to bring:
jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing.
Please arrive 20-30 minutes early. This will provide time to help you register for the event and explain how to take part.
Groups (schools, scouts, sports or social) are extremely welcome,
but please contact us at least a week prior to the event so we can
ensure enough maps are printed.
In
summer, there are 4 runners courses ranging from 3.5-10 km, and a 60
