Heyington Highlights    

This years Heyington event saw the tradition of offering something new and challenging continued -with flair and  tight organisation.

Syd-Course Setter. Bruce Winner Course A.

The introduction of the updated Kooyong Park map added to the range of options presented.

Course A used three maps with a high emphasis on concentration and quick decisions, while Course E competitors had their controls all set within the safety of the school grounds. A novelty for the younger competitors.

The Power Walkers had the use of two maps using both sides of the South Eastern freeway.

The walk to the start was a welcome change with many claiming it was the first time they had done a warm up!

All in all this event was a very successful addition to the high standard we have come to expect from our visits to  Scotch College..

Camberwell Grammar out in force!

We owe the school our thanks for generously allowing the Orienteering organisation to use their facilities.
