Blackburn South

It's amazing how shifting a start triangle just 100 metres to the left of its usual spot, can change the whole feel of a map.  Suddenly some streets are a little closer, some are a little further away, and some controls now appear just that little bit more attractive than they might have otherwise.  This happened at Blackburn South, where moving the start closer to the guide hall made the western end more appealing (turns out it actually wasn't, to my detriment...)  Thanks Di for a well set course that kept us all guessing - and led to a couple of in-form competitors appearing a little lower in the results!

No problems for Bruce as he notched up another win on A course; he was in ahead of Paul, Peter, Colin and Andrew H.  Nor for Tim, who led James, Steven, Lanita and Bruce. First back on C course were Janine, David, Andrew P, Ray, and Brett.  Carolyn, Matthew, Ewen, Murray and Philippa led the pack on D course; Melanie, Pat and Arika finished in that order on E course. Dave was the clear leader on PW with 57 points, but the cluster behind him was very close, with Damian and Mark both on 50 points, then Len and Ron on 48.

Overall results have now been divided up - check the results and see which division you're in, and who your rivals are!  See you next Wednesday at Bayswater.
