2010 Australian MTBO Champs Entries Now Open

Online entries are now open for the 2010 Austrlian MTBO Champs to be held near Castlemaine and Daylesford in Victoria on the weekend of 23 and 24 October. There will be Sprint, Middle and Long distance championships contested, with the Middle and Long races also being World Ranking Events for the elite classes. The weekend will also be the final round of the National MTBO Series for 2010. You can enter now by going to the event website. www.vicorienteering.asn.au/mtbo/auschamps
We have heard that there will be more than 20 New Zealanders making the trip over for the Aust Champs weekend as well as the South Australian MTBO Champs held the weekend before (16/17 October) at Nelson on the Vic/SA border. Middle and Long races will be held near Nelson using maps from last year's Australian Champs. More info on the SA Champs will be available on the Aust Champs website soon.
