Glengala Gardens

Glengala Gardens Surprises! Contestants were generous in their praise for the wonderful Glengala map. The running was mostly on natures strips or on the numerous parkland areas--and the traffic apart from one road --was exceptionally quiet.A highlight was the local gardens which-despite the drought- were a credit to the residents. We enjoyed the start venue where the local Greek community went out of their way to make us welcome, inviting us next time to enjoy their facilities which offer cappucinos-cool drinks etc. Kate enjoyed setting the courses with participants relishing the route choice options. She can't wait to set a course there next year when the new estate is opened up. Next Thursday event This will be at Apex Park Altona on 26th Feb, and will be a Two Map event Jan and Kate discussing Power Walking options.
