Weather Report-Cool Change arrives at 6 44

At twenty to seven it was 39 degrees-ten minutes later the temperature had fallen to the twenties so that we started in ideal conditions! What a welcome change, from earlier in the day where the Laverton area had recorded temperatures near the state maximum.

As Ti Plozza arrived so did the cool change so Tim naturally took some credit for the conditions with claims that as he came up from Werribee the change came with him.

A water control to remember

Jane set a course that was ideally suited for a bayside venue- one control was located outside an ice cream shop while another control was located out in the bay-. To score the points you had to get wet!

Score event with a twist

Apart from the innovative control locations Jane also introduced a scoring system for the controls that encouraged course planning that was outside the square –with some controls worth 1 point while others were worth 9 points.-with the water control obviously given a 9 point rating.

The setting for the event was magnificent, and the innovative ideas being organised for the Thursday series are adding to the enjoyment of those who attend.  .....more photos here
